It's been a while, a long while since I last took a glance at KimberleyJessica, let alone wrote anything. - the same with my social media accounts. They have definitely been neglected - it's time that this changed. I haven't quite figured out where I want my blog to head to, what I want to embrace and achieve, but I'm sure I'll figure it out along the way. 

But first of all, we need to talk skincare. I'm not sure about anyone else, but my skin at the moment is horrendous. I've heard so many people say their skin has improved since being in Lockdown, but I can definitely say mine has got worse. Why? Who knows, but it needs sorting. 

I have been struggling immensely with spots and how sore they are - they're not your standard pimple that you have for a couple of days, these are large red areas that are sore to touch, sore to not touch and just won't bugger off no matter what I do to try and get rid of them. Last year I looked into Beauty Bay's skincare range, spent so much on a skincare routine, and I'm sure that's one of the reasons for my problematic skin at the moment - Goodbye Beauty Bay, I cannot deal with you anymore. 

I decided to look into Younique and their Youology range, really taking into consideration my skin type and what my skin actually needs - not what I thought it needed. What I love about the Youology range is how it can be completely tailored to you. Instead of buying a standard day or night cream from a shop or even online, that companies try to tailor to everyone. Younique provides the opportunity for you to think about what your problem areas are, and what you need to improve your skin overall, you can completely choose what you want your skincare to do. It's incredible.

I personally love a day and night cream, I love how they make my skin feel and it's something that I didn't want to move away from - so instead I used boosters to create a cream perfect for my skin. My skin tends to be dry in places, especially around my nose and where my nose studs are, as well as an often dry forehead. Whereas I also get very very oily. For my day cream I headed for an oil control booster, a hydrating booster and environmental shield booster. Despite living in the countryside, I live next to an airport, so I'm able to tackle 3 problems in one product. Whereas for my night cream I headed for the calming booster, the puffiness reducing booster and time correcting booster - really looking at a nourishing cream for my skin to recover over night.
