It's that time again for another Motivational Monday and today's is for all of you students out there. Being a student can be absolutely great sometimes; you meet some people who you have so many interests with and you build relationships which you've always wanted, but we all know you also find people in University who you don't exactly get on with but that's completely okay. But University also has some tough times, the struggles, the stress and the times when you want to pull your hair out and completely break down (we've all been there). 

As a student and having a job I've learnt that when things are easy, you tend not to grow and you tend not to really succeed either. When things are difficult and a huge challenge and the times when you're generally stressed and want to give up, yet you don't; that's when you grow, achieve and succeed and I've grown to love a challenge because of this.

Right now University is 98% of a challenge and a struggle to get through at the moment and I'm very nearly ready to let loose all of the bullshit which I've had to put up with over the past two years, but I know by getting through it and battling through the challenge without giving up, I'll eventually get to the place where I want to be.

Due to this, I cannot wait for the day where I can honestly say "I made it" because right now I feel like I never will make it. I'm tired of the bullshit my tutors are giving and I'm tired of the useless crap they're teaching us which is completely irrelevant. In six months, I'm hoping to say I made it, but for now; I'm not too sure how many challenges and breaks downs I'm going to face on the way.

I don't know about anyone who's reading this who has just been on half term, but I'm really not ready to go back to studying and working! Another week off, or maybe even two would be perfect. I was one of those grannies who stayed indoors all weekend under blankets and duvets watching movies. I'm not sure if anyone else did this, but I thoroughly enjoyed being in the warmth instead of outside in the cold! However, during the weekend I did finally carve my pumpkins and they look insane! I've been going on and on recently over on my twitter about getting a MacBook Air, how much I've wanted one and whether it's worth getting one or not and I finally caved in and bought one. Right now I'm not entirely sure why people rave on about them apart from how slimming beautiful they are and how quick they are to load things. I've found Sims 4 runs so much quicker and smoother on a Mac than through Windows. 

However if you have a MacBook Air and there are some incredible apps out there which you recommend to me, please let me know as right now it's still the basics! I'm slowly getting round how to use my MacBook and how everything works; I'm not quite there yet, although it's a slow process I know I'll get there within a week!

The past week has been absolutely incredible, being able to wake up whenever I want to and actually have a lay in is everything. Although it's not easy going back into the routine of waking up at 7am every day. Having a week off from pretty much all of my University work will also be a challenge to get back into. It was nice being so far ahead I was able to take a step back and not do much (I did finish one thing off, but it didn't take long on a Friday night).

It's only fair to share a Halloween themed post with you around this time of the year. Last year I went all out and shared a fair few baking recipes with you to create Halloween themed cakes etc however this year I decided not to go down that route. B&M kindly gave me the opportunity to go to my local B&M store to pick up whatever I wanted from the Halloween range with £20. So these products are completely affordable for anyone who may be on a budget or simply wants to add a few Halloween touches to their home or bedroom.

 Firstly we have the Haribo Scaremix Duo Tub. This was just £2.99. I have seen so many people on Social Media picking this tub of sweets up, I just had to find it for myself! I love the tub and it's definitely one I won't be binning. I'm having a Halloween day tomorrow with my boyfriend watching as many Halloween films as we can in one day so I'm looking forward to tucking into these while we do so.

 We then have the Halloween candle holder with a spider garland. This was £5.99 however I believe it has now gone down in price to either £1.99 or £2.99! So get it whilst you can. I absolutely love this because the garland is detachable so you can still use the candle holder all year round. It's a perfect holder for tea lights or for the short stubby candles which do not come in a holder (I'm not entirely sure what they are called, but I have loads of them!).

We then have the 25 pack of Skull Lights for £2.99. They also sold these as Pumpkins however my store had sold out but I definitely would have picked them up if they were on the shelf. I think these are the cutest! They're so tiny and to be honest, if you're a fan of skulls you could have these up all year round. The only downside to them is how they're battery operated instead of having a plug.

 We then have another Halloween candle! This was just £3.99. I absolutely love B&M candles and they have some brilliant candles in at the moment for Christmas and Autumn; we all know what they are as they've been flying around Instagram for the past couple of weeks. I personally think this candle smells like Christmas spices but I'm not complaining about that! It means I can use this all the way up to Christmas instead of just for Halloween.

Last but not least is the Peeping Skeleton for just £5.99. I absolutely loved this as it sits in your window and looks as creepy as heck! I'm planning on putting this in my boyfriend's nan's bedroom when she's out. Sounds harsh but I know she'll absolutely love it when she sees it! I think if I saw this as a child when I least expected it, I would have definitely had a fright.

I feel like it's a tradition to share important and exciting events on my blog and today I am so exited to say IT'S MY THIRD ANNIVERSARY! Yep, that's right. Myself and Luke have been in a relationship for three years now which feels completely unreal. Three years is a long time and it definitely doesn't feel like it has been three years. So we tend not to do the whole give each other gifts etc on our Anniversary as it's so close to Christmas and we'd prefer to save money. Being a student and having no money, it was a lot tougher for me! However, we do always go for a dinner out and spend the whole day together which makes up for it.

Although this year Bakerdays were the absolute bomb and sent us a Postbox cake. A what? Yes, a postbox cake! It sounds crazy but it's real. They create a cake which is small enough to fit into a small tin, which will then be boxed up to fit through a letter box. It's the perfect idea if you want a cake delivered to your house but you know you're not gong to be in as they will still deliver it anyway through your postbox. For a postbox cake (or letterbox cake) it's just £14.99! This is also for a completely personalised cake so it's a win win.

 Bakerdays have so many cakes to choose from for Anniversaries but it doesn't stop there. They also cater for every single possible event which will occur in someone's life. New Job, new baby, graduation, birthday, christmas, halloween; there are so many more too. I absolutely loved the pre-designed cakes where all you do is add a picture and it's done however I wanted my cake to be completely personalised; made from scratch and they were able to do this for me. 

I love you from my head to-ma-toes is something which myself and Luke have said to each other from day one and this represents us. So I just had to get it designed onto a cake! I also chose one of my favourite pictures from my 18th Birthday with a blue polka dot background; I absolutely love it. 

You also have so many different cake recipes to choose from; lemon drizzle, traditional victoria sponge, half chocolate half sponge, rich chocolate chip, gluten free; there are so many. So if you do not like a traditional sponge, you can opt for something different and they're always catering for gluten free and dairy free too!

The cake can be delivered to your house whenever you would like it to be; the day of the special event, the day before or even a week before; it will arrive in the tin and will be fine to eat even a week afterwards. It's amazing. I've had this cake since Monday and it is still soft and squidgy like a cake should be.

It's absolute madness how not long ago I was sharing my first ever post showing off my new puppy to you and now she is 45 weeks old. It's crazy how fast the past 8 months have flown by. Willow is 45 weeks old and it's crazy to say in just over a month she will be a year old. How?! I started sharing updates of willow every two weeks and now it's every five weeks as her development started to slow down and she wasn't really changing in appearance.

I have to say in five weeks, Willow definitely hasn't grown since the last time I updated you on how she is; however I'm not entirely sure if she has put on weight. Willow is still her usual crazy self but also the laziest dog I know! She'll happily lay on my bed, my mum's bed or the sofa for the whole day and that is where she'll stay. Willow is 100% a laid back dog and doesn't run around the house like a lunatic like my boyfriend's puppy does. 

As the weeks have flown by, we've realised how much she is more like a husky than a German Shepherd. We're thoroughly enjoying going through the Facebook husky groups and seeing other people's full breed huskies and seeing how much they represent the type of dog Willow is; it's great!

Willow is slowly becoming more used to people the more she interacts with them. She's still not as keen when it comes to a stranger approaching her and she tends to back off but she's a lot better than she used to be. Willow also absolutely hates children; if you have a dog which disliked children, how did you overcome this? We have absolutely no idea.

This week's Motivational Monday is based around blogging compared to my usual posts which tend to be more University/student themed or general mental health based. As most of my readers are bloggers, I generally felt this week's thoughts would suit so many bloggers out there because I know so many people go through the problem which I'm currently having. I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about already. I wouldn't say I have bloggers block, but I'm definitely having the feeling of lack of inspiration and motivation. I needed to take some time for myself, step back from my blog and remember why I enjoy blogging so much and why I started it in the first place.

So we all start blogging for a reason; whether you wanted to write because it's a passion, you wanted to join in on the craze or even if you're like me and wanted to escape from the real world. We all have our reasons to start a blog and there are so many more reasons out there. However sadly sometimes bloggers do go through a stage of forgetting why they started blogging and even as someone who does this as a hobby, it's still okay to forget.

I guess this would be the same situation as any job too; I sometimes forget why I'm going into teaching in the first place and I genuinely question what I'm doing with my life and why I have spent an extra five years in Education to become a teacher; which will finish up being six years in total. It's madness but I do forget and I do question myself and sadly I've had this problem with my blog for a couple of weeks now. As usual which I speak a lot about on here and on social media; I compared myself to others and then I feel shit about myself. I look at people's instagram's and think "god I wish I had the space in my bedroom to actually take good flat lays" But annoyingly, I do not have the space to be able to do this; living in a tiny box room is difficult but I know it won't last forever. 

Sometimes when you are questioning yourself, when you are comparing yourself to others and overall just feeling like complete and utter shit about your blog nearly every day, you need to take some time out and remember why you started. Remember why you love to blog and why you've kept it going for so long. I completely understand a year isn't long but for a hobby; damn a year is a long time! But I know I blogged for a year for a reason; in fact I blogged nearly every single day for a whole year, of course there's a reason for that. You may feel guilty for taking some time out from blogging and completely neglecting your blog and social media accounts, but trust me; sometimes it's all you need to get your mojo back.

I am completely aware I have absolutely sucked with my blog and posting for the past week; my schedule of posting every single day completely when up the shoot and it definitely didn't happen. However, I'm going to try and organise my time a little bit better within the next few weeks; start planning my posts more and spending more time in the evening blogging instead of sitting on my bed scrolling through different websites searching for Christmas presents which I cannot afford.

Within the past week when I have been completely quiet on social media I realised how well and truly crap my University is. Instead of going to University on Wednesday and wasting my whole morning messaging my boyfriend instead of listening to my tutor ramble on, I decided to officially start my Christmas shopping in one of my local towns and gosh, did I have fun! I managed to get a huge chunk of my Christmas shopping done last week which I know a lot of people will think is absolutely crazy as it's October, but for me usually, this is extremely late to do my Christmas shopping. 

I have also finally decided when I'm getting my Macbook Air, what accessories I'm getting and I cannot explain how excited I am to receive it. As I'm writing this post, I do not have it yet but keep an eye on my social media accounts for updates as it's coming very soon! I have never used a Macbook, even at University I tend to avoid them as I have absolutely no idea how to use them so this is going to be some fun. If you're reading this post and you have a Macbook Air, I would love any support of how to set up a Macbook and the best apps etc to use!

Back at the beginning of September, I shared a post with you guys of the perfect cosy outfits for University in the warmer weather; featuring three dresses in total which you can pair with boots or sandals. Now that the weather is getting colder, it is time to share with you two cosy cardigans which you can pair with whatever outfit you want; that's what I love about them.

Prettylittlething has some great clothes; there's no doubt about that but I love their range which includes all of the comfiest yet simple clothes for everyday activities. My personal favourite is the Chunky Knit Cardigan which is available in two different colours; and thank christ, I have both! I love them.

 Something I absolutely love about these cardigans is how big and baggy there are. I chose the size medium because not only do I have long arms so a small tends to come up short on the arms, but I prefer to have my cardigans and jumpers a lot bigger than the size I actually am. I also love a cardigan which covers my bum too! 

Another feature which I am absolutely loving and enjoying about these cardigans are the huge pockets. I have a fairly large phone and I have absolutely no issues about my phone not fitting in these pockets. They're pretty much the Mary Poppins bag but in a pocket. 

Something I never used to be keen on is a cream cardigan with different colour t-shirts; or even with black trousers/leggings. I just didn't think it looked right. However, as fashion has changed I am absolutely loving cream on black and there are more clothes being brought out with cream/black features; such as scarves. If you've worn your black cardigan a few days during the week, don't worry they have a cream one to back you up so you can always feel cosy while the other is in the wash. For £22, it's a winner! It's currently out of stock, however I'm sure it'll come back in very soon.

Although this post is a week late; I had to still share it with you! There are so many canvas companies out there; good and bad, I've come across quite a fair few. However, I came across Photowall after an email popped into my inbox and I had to check them out. Something that I love about this company is how they sell overall canvas prints if you're not looking to personalise one yourself. But it doesn't stop there; their prints are absolutely beautiful and they have a wide range; so there will always be something that you are looking for.

If you personalise a canvas yourself, it will come in a small, thin box which will probably throw you off! But don't worry, your canvas is in that box, even when you don't think it's possible. Although I was confused at first and slightly annoyed that I had to put the canvas together myself, I actually quite enjoyed it in the process. It was nice to be able to go through the process of how companies put together canvas' and it gave a little bit of a personalised touch knowing you didn't just buy it and it came ready made.

Something that is completely different to Photowall compared with other companies out there is the quality of the canvas. This canvas was so much heavier than any canvas I have bought before; personalised or even from a shop. It was heavy, good quality wood and it even surprised my mum when I gave it to her! The canvas of the print is also insane; it's a thick material unlike the thin fabric which many cheaper companies use. Overall, although you are paying for what may seem like an expensive canvas, the quality completely over rules the price because of how great it is.

I cannot remember the last time I shared a baking post with you and so after having the biggest craving for banana bread I decided to make one with a little twist; of course, blueberries! I absolutely love blueberry and banana pancakes; they're incredible so why not try them both together in a loaf cake? I know so many people tweeted me back saying they were craving a banana loaf after I tweeted about it, so here's a post just for you guys!

If you love banana and you love blueberries then this one is definitely worth trying. It's soft, it's moist and it's perfect for a morning treat with a huge mug of coffee.

I wanted to share a personal post based around my daily experience of constantly feeling fatigue; this may help one person or it may help no one, but for me it's a way of processing my thoughts and letting them out into words to try and understand them. For the past few years I have really struggled with feeling tired on a daily basis and it hasn't really hit me and made a difference to my life until the past two years I'd say. It started to make a difference when I was going to see my boyfriend and I'd fall asleep during the day, or even a few afters after waking up. I wouldn't just sleep for half an hour however, I would sleep for at least three; it wasn't normal. 

In the past year or year and a half it's really impacted my life; I've felt tired after just waking up and I would feel tired for the whole day. For instance last night I probably had ten hours sleep which my body usually feels great on the next morning, however today I have felt drained and fatigue from the moment I woke up even until 8pm at night.

This is a problem I haven't spoken to the doctors about in the past four years, I didn't think anything of it! However, after going for tests for my migraines I mentioned to my neurologist how could my sleep have anything to do with the reason why I wake up in the morning with a migraine. I explained to him how I could have 6, 8 or even 10 hours sleep and I will still wake up with a migraine and therefore he sent for a sleep clinic test to find out whether my sleep is a good sleep or whether it's a very light, broken sleep which is making an impact on my head. 

This test was carried out on the 12th September this year and I received my results last week; they were completely normal, no issues what so ever with my sleep. After feeling exhausted a couple of days ago I questioned what was wrong with me if it's nothing to do with the way I sleep. Why am I feeling fatigue and drained on a daily basis regardless of how much sleep I get?

Having daily fatigue makes daily life a struggle; it makes you feel exhausted on top of already feeling tired. It makes daily activities and jobs around the house exhausting when they shouldn't be. Being a student at University, it has a huge impact on when I can get work done and when I can't. I didn't even bother trying to do any University work today because I knew I wouldn't be able to because of how tired I felt.

I plan on speaking to my doctor next week about this problem to find out what it may be and how I can stop this daily feeling of fatigue so I can finally have my answers. At the same time, I plan on also finding out the answers to my daily migraines too.

Do you ever have those weeks where everything has flown by at a complete blur? That's how this week has been for me. University has been a little bit annoying and stressful, however I had a surprisingly good week at work. I decided to do some baking yesterday and of course everything I made went completely wrong and not how I wanted it to turn out; but that pretty much sums up my week; not going right!

It's the fourth week into University and I've already had enough of my tutors; they're not reading my work even when they said they have so their feedback is absolutely useless. I have a tutor who won't let me progress into my dissertation until everyone else has finished their ethical approval stage and I have a group project which I definitely wouldn't say is a group effort. It's not exactly the way I wanted my third year to go; but sadly it's going down hill already and I just need to try and pick up the pieces and keep going. 

I think it's quite sad how we pay so much money for decent lecturers and yet they are still shit. They're supposed to teach us and help us learn but none of this is happening where I study. I work at a high speed as I'm highly organised, yet they're telling me to slow down and not complete work until the last minute; how is this effective tutoring?

Right now I'm currently going through the stages of looking into teacher training, finding out when deadlines are for applications and right now I'm getting absolutely no where. Starting a dissertation can be a little bit tiring, stressful and also quite anxious at the same time; knowing you have so many time frames and deadlines to juggle around your social life and/or work. Not only that, it's also the process of trying to decide what your dissertation is going to be about, what your title will be and then deciding what your chapters are going to be too; it's a long process which takes a long time to complete and achieve.

As a third year student, I've been planning my dissertation since May; I changed my mind three times in total about what my dissertation would be about and what my question would be but by August, I had my final decision. I also chose my chapters for my dissertation in June which made the process a little bit easier; I knew I didn't have to worry about these areas in October when my tutors start asking us what we want to do so we can get our proposal form completed.

The first process of a dissertation is completing your proposal form and ethical application form and the ethics quiz too (if your university uses this process). It's a process which I think should be completed within a week or two, but for some reason my University thinks it takes a month or over to do this. 

Then it's starting your dissertation; the research, the methodology and analysing your findings. I personally do not have to do this process as my dissertation is only based on secondary research which makes it a huge literature review; but I know many other universities use primary research as an alternative way of doing your dissertation.

The hardest part about starting a dissertation is know how to start; if you have never done it before, you're not going to have a clue (like myself). If you know anyone who has done a dissertation in the same way you're having to do yours (either primary or secondary research), try and ask someone for their advice. Sadly I haven't been able to do this as I do not know anyone who has done a dissertation primarily on secondary research.

If you have good tutors, they will also be there to support you through this part of starting your dissertation. That's if they can be bothered (I know mine can't). Remember, if you're stuck; ask someone. A tutor, a friend or even someone who might have an idea but isn't necessarily your tutor.

I've been going on for around two months now about revamping my bedroom and it's finally time to share what's changed with you! I have never been happy with my current bedroom since I moved into it in 2011; it's tiny, it's a box room and for someone who has a lot of hobbies and interests, it definitely is not big enough. However, I can safely say I am finally happy with it, apart from I have no where to hide Christmas presents, damn it! 

Something I am currently obsessed with is these Vonhaus drawers; they have so many different styles with different amounts of draws however I am loving the set of ten drawers! I also found a huge set which has a set of five deeper drawers on one side and the ten on the other which came in real handy for all of my University things. I started off with one set of drawers last year and in the past two months I now have four in total; I'm definitely not a hauder! I labelled each drawer using sticky black board labels off Ebay and bought chalk pens whilst I was at it because they're so much easier to use.

I also desperately wanted to spray paint my Makeup Revolution storage chest some how, and after wrecking one with white paint, I then went in with my second set with a spray can; they are now insanely beautiful and so handy for all of my hair ties, cotton pads and bobby pins!

 My shelves are another area which I have never been happy with; however while I was repainting my bedroom I decided it was time to go through them, organise them and make them look wonderful again! As you can tell, I love a book; but I'm also a student with a love of candles. So why not have a whole area in your bedroom showcasing your love for all three?

 I've been mentioning my little DIY project with Wilkos frames recently and I absolutely love how they turned out. Sadly unless I put a nail in the wall, they don't always stay up using the "no hole" sticky hooks by Command. I purchased these prints from Chloe who used to have That Lame Company as a way of expressing myself, my love for quotes and in total I chose eight quotes which represented myself as a person.

 After having to rehome my dog, I decided I wanted to some how still have her here with me, so I chose to use up a little area on my all with two canvas'. One of a memory of Ruby (the jack russell), and of course a way of remembering willow as a puppy; a huge canvas! I had so many issues ordering these and waiting for them to turn up after being lost in the post; but I am so pleased with how they turned out. 

 I have to say this is my favourite part about my bedroom; a quote which I have had on my wall since 2011, combined with my 24 picture frame of my first holiday abroad with Luke. I absolutely love photos and scrapbooks and the idea of having a huge frame which could move out with me one day into my new home made everything feel a little bit magical. I then completed this wall with my Very Vez quotes which I wake up to every single morning; a great way of starting the day off in a great, positive mood. I absolutely love the quote Always Kiss Me Goodnight. I remember seeing it on a post on facebook so many years ago and mentioned to my mum how I had to have it. I hope to one day have a huge version of this over a king size bed (we can all dream). I love the little added girly touches!

Last but not least, I finally managed to get my canvas up on the wall of Ruby's paw prints. A few years ago I decided to put an old sheet down in the bathroom and have Ruby walk through paint and then walk across a canvas so I can always have her paw prints and I'm so glad I did. It adds a pop of colour to a white bedroom and it's original! No one else has it.

I then paired this with my canvas from Posh Canvas. The guys over at Posh Canvas kindly created a canvas just for me; something no one else has. Not only is it the colour font of my blog theme, but it's the quote which I have literally everywhere. In a photo frame, in a personalised necklace and if I had a tattoo, I would get this quote somewhere on my body. I may created a post later on explaining why I love this quote so much. But I cannot thank the team at Posh Canvas for creating something which means the entire world to me. The quality is absolutely beautiful and it wasn't a job which was rushed, they really took their time on making this right for me.

So here's to something a little bit different and a little bit out of everyone's comfort zone but that's exactly why I'm bringing this here to Kimberley Jessica.
