I have been planning this post for so many months now. I originally wanted to schedule it for November but it took me so long to actually finish this book because I stopped reading it, it's taken me three months to sit down read the book and now share it with you. If you didn't know, I absolutely love reading I just do not have enough time in the day to sit down and read a book for a good length of time. But I have to say, out of all the books I have read recently, this one really got me hooked. I absolutely loved it and I couldn't recommend it enough. 

I picked this book up for so many different reasons. For starters, it's written by Nicholas Sparks so it's obviously going to be an incredible book. Secondly, I was recommended it by so many different people; I had to get my hands on it. Thirdly, on the blurb it mentions a guy who's at University, this automatically got me hooked. I'm strange like that and lastly, well look how gorgeous the cover is.

One thing I really love about books like this is how each chapter is the view of the other person in the story. So this book is about Colin and Maria and each chapter, was based on what was happening for each character. I don't know why, but fiction books like this just make it so much more interesting to read. I never want to put it down because I always want to know what happens next for the other character in the book. 

This book was so intense towards the end, who is being such a dick towards Maria? Is it the brother of the girl who was killed? Or is it the boyfriend? Or is it even the father? There were so many twists and turns, I absolutely loved it and this is what made me finish the book so quickly over the past few days.

Would I recommend it?

100%. If you love a good read, and you have the time to read a chunky book then I highly recommend purchasing this now and really getting your teeth sunk into it. You will not be disappointed!

Would I re-read it?

If I had enough time to read it again, definitely! I would have preferred to sit down and read big chunks of it instead of a chapter or two every day.

What do I rate it out of 5?

I would rate this book a big fat 5. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, I could read it again already.
