Staying Organised This Christmas

Friday, December 22, 2017

Good Morning!
I hope you're having a wonderful day.

I don't know about anyone else but staying organised at Christmas can be a little bit hectic and drive yourself a little bit mad, but it's all worth it at the end, right? Let's be honest, most people who read my blog know I'm fairly organised (or at least I used to be), and organisation is a key part of my life, and something I wanted to share with you guys is being organised this Christmas as I know some people may be stressing, panicking or raising their anxiety levels as Christmas gets a little bit closer each day. It's three days away, insane!

I absolutely love to be organised at Christmas purely because I hate having to rush around closer to Christmas when everyone else is too. Going into any shop right now is an absolute pain in the ass and I tend to avoid them if I can. Unless it's Christmas food shopping and I'll just enjoy it regardless of how many people are getting in my way and standing there having conversations in the middle of an aisle. You know the type of people I am talking about!

Staying organised near Christmas can be easy as long as you have everything you need to do so. Firstly, you are going to need a note pad, or even your notes in your phone. You need something which you can write Christmas lists down for absolutely everyone you want to buy for this Christmas. This year I used my phone as it's something I always have with me, whereas I'm bound to forget or lose a piece of paper. With the tick box feature on notes now on android and iOS, there was no issues ticking off what I had already bought for people and it made the process so much easier. I even wrote down prices and where to get things next to each item to make it that little bit extra.

You also need a diary to plan your life and no, I am not joking. I have done this since November, my life has been that much of a struggle and I needed to get it into order. On everyday plan when you have something to do. For me and being a third year student; every Wednesday up to the 13th was planned to do University work, while every Monday was planned to write blog posts (which never happened as I ended up doing something else). I then wrote in the days I was working which gave me three or even one day spare to plan something with my mum or my boyfriend. My weeks up to Christmas have been so much more organised and easier to figure out when someone asks me if I have plans. When you say you need to look in your diary first, you won't be joking! I even planned days to wrap presents, is that quite sad?

Let me know how you stay organised at Christmas!

I'll see you soon
