Pretty Little Liars Twisted | Book Review

Thursday, September 14, 2017

Good Morning!
I hope you're having a great week.

I reviewed this book back in March and after re-reading it for the second time I wanted to review it again because my opinion has completely changed. So back in March I mentioned how I had mixed emotions about this book compared to the previous book in the series; there are a lot of twists in this book which you do not expect especially if you have watched the whole series too. Even now it still confuses me why they completely changed the plot of the story when they recreated it into a TV series.

So in Twisted a lot of people were included in the book who are not in the TV series; there's a random girl who pretty much has a thing with Emily and everything's fine until Emily is babysitting for her dad and when he gets home he tries to get it on with her and she finds this out further on in the book at a Swimming event. Everything goes up the wall and her friend finds out about what happened whilst she was babysitting; of course that ended pretty badly.

I mentioned in my other review how Alison has a twin sister but Alison isn't actually Alison; she's "apparently" dead and her twin is pretending to be her; it all got rather confusing. Towards the end of the book the girls think this girl is Alison or her twin and after killing her by accident, it turns out it was in fact not either of the twins and it was a complete stranger. Sound pretty familiar? But with different people? That's what I thought.

Would I recommend it?
After reading this book for a second time I personally would recommend it if you're looking to find out what happened in the books compared to what was actually made into the TV series. It's a great series of books!

Would I re-read it?
Back in my other review I mentioned how I wouldn't re-read this book and of course I have, but after reading it twice; the only way I'd read it again is if I forgot what happened. But that won't happen!

What do I rate it out of 5?
On a scale of 1-5 I'd have to rate this book a 3 still. It's not the best book in the series, however it's great if you absolutely love twists in a book; something you would never expect to happen.

Let me know if you have read this book and what you thoughts were on it.

I'll see you soon
