I was very reluctant to write this book review as it was a book which I really did not enjoy reading, to the point where I stopped reading it because it was such a waste of my time reading a book which I weren't enjoying. However, that's something I really love about book reviews because you won't always find a book which you love everything about, and there will be books which you don't like or can't get into and this is completely normal. Although I didn't enjoy this book, doesn't mean someone else won't enjoy it. I handed it over to my mum before taking it to the charity shop as she might read it and absolutely love it, you just never know!

So let's get too it;

One aspect I did like about this book is the concept of it. The story line. How it was about a couple of women who were over weight and people were pushing them to lose weight and the whole story behind it all. I did like that. This is an issue which we currently have in our society of people being "overweight" and others trying to push them and make them lose weight, even if they feel comfortable with how they are. I'm definitely against judgemental people who try to change you even if you are happy.

One aspect I didn't like about this book is the way in which it was written. I absolutely love a book which I can see crystal clear in my mind when I'm reading it. How it pretty much makes me feel like I'm part of the story, and in the story instead of just reading about it. Unfortunately, this book didn't make me feel like that. I did not have a clear vision in my mind of what was going on and I couldn't picture it. As well as this, I didn't feel like I was part of the story and I sort of had the feeling I was back in school, being made to read a book which I really didn't want to read but had too anyway. It was dull and it was boring, which is unfortunate as I really do love some of Lucy's other books!

Would I recommend this book?
To be completely honest, it's not a book which stood out to me and it definitely isn't one which I would tell everyone to rush out and buy. I absolutely love Lucy's books however this just weren't for me. However, it might possible be a great book for someone else. So if you like the sound of this book, go for it. If you don't then don't worry!

Would I re-read?
I would not re-read this book! Purely because I was unable to read the whole book anyway because I wasn't enjoying it.

Overall score out of five?
Out of five, I would give this book possibly a 2. I enjoyed the whole concept of it but the way it was written, it just was not for me and I found it quite boring!
