We're always on the hunt for a perfect gift for that special someone in our life, even if that someone is a family member; they deserve something magnificent. I'm usually quite good at thinking up presents for the special people in my life but sometimes I want to find that gift which is filled with everything meaningful and that's where Songfinch comes in. 

Songfinch is a company which creates a song which includes everything from your experiences, your thoughts and everything in between; you give them all of the information you have about someone or an occasion and they create a song using everything you have given them; it's truly that simple. But it's just not that great, they have professional writers and musicians to create the perfect song for your loved one. 

The process is pretty simple; you write down who the song is for, what the occasion is and then select the type of music you'd like. From this you then write down addition information which you'd like to be included in the song about the person you're making it for. I decided to try their service out and they created a song called Little Moments which you can listen to here. I chose to have the song created for my partner Luke because I knew his birthday was coming up and I wanted something special to give to him which we can always keep. 

Songfinch did the most incredible job at creating this song for Luke. They made it so real; including everything that our time together has brought us; it made me cry so hard, my mum thought something had really upset me. I weren't upset, I was just so happy with the result of the song; it's everything I could ever dream of and it's the most beautiful song I've heard. It's a song I can listen to over and over again and not get bored of it, and also a song I have learnt off by heart because it means that much to me. We decided it may be a song that we play at our wedding one day because it represents us as a couple; but who knows.
