Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl; Day Five

Monday, December 05, 2016

Good Morning
It is Monday! Comment a motivational Monday quote below!

It is the fifth day of December meaning it's the fifth day of #Beautybrawl16. As usual make sure to use this hashtag on twitter and instagram to keep up to date with everyone's posts!

Today is the day of all blushers and I decided to try out the Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick in Matte Dream!  "Use strong and vibrant, or sheer. Designed for multiple use across Cheeks and Lips, use Dry for Hi-Intensity Colour or apply Wet for a smooth sheer finish".

I recently spent over £35 on the Makeup Revolution website (I say recently, this was before they moved over to Tam Beauty) and if I spent over £35, I would receive a mystery bag which contains £25 worth of makeup and this wonderful treasure was inside that bag! However, I completely forgot I had it and I'm so glad I rediscovered it in my bedroom because it is beautiful!
Why I Like It;
I absolutely love this product because of how creamy it is! When I say creamy, I mean insanely creamy! Till the point when I opened it, the blush stick had come out of where it was molded into because it was so soft (this was a right pain to get back out of the lid). This blush stick is easy to blend, and the pigment of it is unreal! You only need a tiny bit of this to add a subtle blush to your cheeks.
How I Use It;
Simply swipe it across the apple of your cheeks, gently! Or you'll apply too much. Either use your fingers, a beauty blender or a makeup brush to blend into your skin! You can either powder before, or after using this! (I tend to powder afterwards just to set it into place).

The Results;
Depending how much I apply, I am either left with beautiful blush on the apples of my cheeks! This shade is absolutely gorgeous and if you apply it lightly, it looks very natural too! It leaves your skin looking flawless and lasts all day too! I have also tested what products I can use to remove this and it's easily removable with baby wipes, micellar water and cleansers too!
Any Cons;
The only negative aspect I have found about this product is how creamy and soft it can get. After receiving this and opening it with the blush being sat in the lid, I'm so wary on how I place this now in my makeup bag as I'm worried it'll keep going into the lid as it's so soft and does not stay in the mould it was made in.

Final Thoughts;
If you're looking for a cream blush then definitely check out Makeup Revolution! The products aren't just low in price but the quality of them are amazing too. The One Blush in Matte Dream is perfect for a natural day look and would be perfect for summer too! You can also pair this with their highlight cream sticks which would complete any makeup look!

I'll see you soon
