Something I am absolutely loving at the moment is skincare and anything to do with it; tools, cleansers, face masks; the lot! Whatever will make my face feel or look good; I will love. I had the chance to try out the Image Skincare Ageless Overnight Retinol Masque; what a mouthful! I haven't ever heard of this brand before and I'm sure many people haven't to be honest; it's not the brand you'd usually find in a shop down the high street.

I thought this would be a standard face mask which you apply and take off after 20-30 minutes but that isn't the case. You do not rub it in a lot, and you leave it on overnight; crazy! Have you ever tried a face mask like this? 

 What's different about this mask too is how it's main ingredient is Retinol; a derivative of Vitamin A. Basically, this means it's used in ant-ageing products and is used in most products on the high street today. Sadly, if you use a product with over 1% of Retinol; your skin can feel like it's burning, or it can peel or become irritated and that's why Image Skincare has produced a masque which provide 3% retinol without these skin issues.

This overnight masque is perfect for normal skin types, ageing or pigmented skin; so it's perfect if you're getting that older ageing look! Luckily enough I'm not quite there yet, but this means this product will stop my skin from ageing so quickly. 

The main aim of the overnight masque is to lock in nutrients whilst you're gaining your beauty sleep. It helps to increase firmness, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also improving the skin imperfections; everything you want from an overnight masque.

When I first tried out this product I found it quite strange and I didn't get it's full impact from the first use as I rubbed it in too much. I then received an email with hints and tips telling me not to rub it in too much as it won't work to it's full potential. The next time I used it, I only rubbed the masque in a tiny bit; and went to bed straight away. I completely understand why you shouldn't rub it in too much now; my skin felt completely different! I woke up with my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated compared to usual.

Although I found it rather odd going to bed with a completely wet face which I'm not used too; the skin makes my skin not only feel softer but it looks so much less dry by the end of the day! Whether it's because my skincare routine has changed, or because I'm using this product on a weekly basis I'm not sure but I am loving it!
