Staying In Style At University

Saturday, August 26, 2017

Good Morning!
I hope you're having a great week.

It's that time to start bringing to back the University themed posts on a Saturday morning and I'm starting it off with a staying in style post! I absolutely love my boyfriend taking photos of me, I can't lie! I worked with Everything 5 Pounds last Autumn and the pictures were incredible, I couldn't wait to work on this post with his help! I'm one of those girls who prefers comfort over fashion and that's just me; I absolutely love to be comfortable and I'd prefer to be comfy than look like I'm going on a night out every single day. However, you can still be comfortable and stylish at the same time and that's where today's post comes into place. I'm going to be sharing three outfits with you (although two are the same), for you girls who loves to stay comfortable, but want to be stylish too whilst at University this year. All of these outfits you can pair with any footwear you would like; from knee high boots, ankle boots to cute trainers or pumps; they're easy to jazz up or keep low key.

So lets get too it;
My favourite item from PrettyLittleThing is the Marriet Mid Wash Button Through Denim Shirt Dress for just £22; incredible! I have never felt such great quality denim in my life until now. I showed this to a couple of people and to begin with they were like "urgh" but once they actually saw it on, they absolutely loved it! I definitely prefer trying clothes on than just going with what the pictures look like online; clothing always looks so different on the models online compared to when you try it on yourself. It's one of those dresses which you can pair with a pair of ankle boots, knee high boots or go simple with a pair of trainers of pretty flats. I'm loving this dress with a pair of pretty sandals.
This looks like a jumper right? Well it is! The Sianna Grey Oversized Sweater Dress is exactly what you need in your wardrobe throughout every season. You can dress it with a pair of sandals on a chilly summers day or pair it with a pair of tights and ankle boots and you'd look just a great. Although this is supposed to have the ironed look, I am absolutely loving the "I have screwed this up into a ball and then thrown it on" look. You can roll the sleeves up, keep them down; wear the dress however you would like to and with so many colours to choose from for just £18; you're going to have the most stylish wardrobe all year round while at University.
Although it's as creased as heck but lets just ignore that; I am absolutely loving the Sianna Dark Mauve oversized sweater dress for £18. I chose this in a size larger than what I actually am because I wanted it to be pretty huge and my mum described it as "it looks like you've put one of your dad's jumpers on" and it's pretty much that! It's a sweater, it's huge and it's so comfy! To be completely honest, it could really do with an iron but I'm loving the "lazy student" un-ironed look; which student irons exactly? none. You can pair this with some beautiful heels or dress it down with some flats, but it would look absolutely gorgeous with either! I paired both this dress and the grey oversized with grey plimsoles and I couldn't have felt any comfier!

A huge thank you to Luke for taking some great pictures for me.

This post features product(s) which were sent to me for review purposes however all opinions are my own.

I'll see you soon
