October Favourites

Good Morning!
I hope you are having a lovely day

It is that time of the month again where I share absolutely everything that I have been loving with you! This month includes a lot more beauty products which is always a winner! I have also included the traditional favourite song, book, lipstick and nail varnish which I have been using the most throughout the month! This has been the largest favourites post I have ever wrote and to be honest, it's definitely my favourite too! I have fallen in love with so many different products or things throughout October and it has definitely been a great month!

So let's get too it;
The book I have been absolutely loving throughout September is "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. I am a huge fan of Sparks, his books and films never fail to amaze me! It's such a beautiful film and to be honest, the book is just as amazing! What I love about this book is how short the chapters are. I'm one of those people who cannot put a book down until I have finished a chapter so this is a perfect book for me!
Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Covershoot Cosmetics contour palette and I instantly fell in love! (You can find the review here) I have been using this every day ever since! This is the first cream contour kit I have ever used, and for a first impression, wow I am impressed! I think this is a wonderful idea as it includes a highlight, bronze and contour all in one package, which is perfect when you're on the go! I also love how this provides you with a tutorial inside the lid of how to use these products, and where to use each of them on your face. The texture of these products are very creamy, and very light! I find them easy to blend using a beauty blender and use can easily layer the product too.
I have also recently tried out the Seventeen Instant Glow Cream Bronzer which is just as amazing as the cream contour kit by Covershoot! It's now part of my every day makeup routine, now it's the colder months and the sun is very rarely shining, my skin needs the tan! However, I am not a fake tan user, so this is the next best thing! This is the most creamiest cream product I have ever used (I've only used two brands), but you know what I mean! It's amazing. It's so so easy to blend, it's not too orange on my skin and it's build-able too! I have recently started using this as my contour too and then applying a powder contour on top to set it and I have been loving it! For £4.99, you just cannot go wrong. You can find my review here.
So this is a random item which I have also been loving throughout October and I couldn't help but mention it! So gingerbread lattes are one of those drinks which places such as Starbucks and Costa bring out around Christmas time however, I couldn't help but start drinking it as soon as Autumn came around. I love Nescafe sachets as they're so handy when travelling to and from places and taking a travel mug with me! Unfortunately, being a fussy coffee addict, I cannot drink just any old coffee granules which you can buy in the supermarket so this is the next best option! I absolutely love how much spice this has in it, and it's not sickly either which is perfect! I highly recommend trying this if you haven't already and it's so much cheaper than a costa gingerbread latte too! Students will appreciate this!
For the past month or so I have been using Paul Mitchell Shampoo and Conditioner from the "Wild Ginger" range to smooth my hair and reduce frizz. As well as using these two products every other time I wash my hair, I have been using the Mirror Smooth High Gloss Primer also from the Paul Mitchell Wild Ginger range.
"Exclusive KeraReflect™ blend with natural Abyssinian oil and thermal protectors restores moisture, adds shine and helps shield hair from the outside in. Primes the surface cuticle of the hair for a smooth, shiny, polished look and controls unruly texture".
I'm not going to go into too much detail about this product as I have a full review coming very soon! However, when I have been using this, not only has my hair felt softer and smoother but I have also had less frizz! As well as this, my hair has also been drying straight too once I have used this which is incredible! I highly recommend this for anyone who has thick, dry and frizzy hair like myself!
How can I speak about my monthly favourites without including a nail polish? I have been loving this nail polish from +Primark in the shade "Bonfire", it isn't brown but it isn't red, however it is the perfect shade for Autumn! I have never loved a nail polish so much until I tried this and you only need one coat of it too to have it looking representable too with no streaks! Incredible for only £1.80.
Another product which I have been using over the past month is The Jojoba Company Natural Australian Jojoba Oil and as you can see by how much has been used, I have been loving this! I have loved this because it doesn't have a scent. Unfortunately I have found how some oils do have a really terrible smell which has put me off using them, whereas this isn't the case for the Jojoba Oil. One area I have been using this a lot on is my legs and feet which are my dryest areas! I suffer badly with dry skin which makes my life miserable but using this oil has left my skin feeling silky smooth and not sticky. However, whenever I use a cream, my legs are left feeling either wet or sticky which is not ideal when you're about to put jeans on! You can pick this up in Holland & Barrett and if you stick around, you'll see a full review on my blog very soon!
Possibly the most random of all random favourites; peanut M&M's. I have fallen in love with these and there is always a bag in my handbag! Terrible, I know, but I cannot help myself! I never really ate M&M's until I found some halloween ones and thought "what the heck, it's halloween and chocolate, let's get some". What a bad move that was, I'm now addicted.
At this point I have instantly regretted choosing so many favourites for this month because there's so much to write! However, oh my god. Natural Collection, who knew your concealer would be so fabulous?! Recently, I have been really struggling trying to find a full coverage concealer which isn't brightening to use on my bright red spots which nothing wants to cover. I decided to try out this concealer as it looked light enough for my skin, but not too light and it looked full coverage too; and I was right! I have found this is the only concealer which covers my horrendous stress spots and I am genuinely surprised for a concealer which only cost £1.99! Bargain! Life Saver! This is staying in my makeup bag forever!
Seventeen have probably been my favourite brand this month! Not only have I been loving their cream bronzer, but I have been loving their Mega Matte Lipsticks too! This one is in the shade "Roses are red" and you can pick it up from Boots for only £4.49! Wow! This lipstick is extremely pigmented and very creamy! I found this also isn't drying on the lips even if you do not use lip balm which is perfect! I never have a lip balm near me when applying lipstick so I'm glad this has such a creamy consistency as well as being very matte! I have had so many compliments every time I have worn this lipstick! You can find the full review here.
One thing I liked to change about my makeup is the eyeshadows I use and this month I have been reaching to my Makeup Revolution Chocolate Vice Palette the most! Now it's Autumn, golden, bronzey and brown eyeshadow looks are my go too and I can't help but love changing it up sometimes! This palette brings me the perfect colours for Autumn and they are pigmented too! Some of these are powdery, whereas some are fairly creamy but regardless; they are all great eyeshadows, especially if you are on a budget! I love +Makeup Revolution in general and their palettes never fail to amaze me every time they bring out a new one.
My favourite song of the month is Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex. I say my favourite song of the month, but it only came out around the 20th October; oops! However, I love it and I have listened to it on repeat every since it came out! This song relates to my life so much as my ex boyfriend definitely broke my heart however it taught me so much and I was able to learn from it and if it weren't for him, I definitely wouldn't be who I am today! Definitely a relatable song for many girls out there!
Ooops, another Seventeen product! This is definitely a lengthening Mascara and by far it is my favourite of all the Mascara's I have ever tried. I only use one coat of this mascara and it leaves me with fluttery, long, and as you may say "flirty" lashes which are jet black too. The mascara lasts all day and I have not been left with any excess over my eyelids either. I have been able to remove this mascara with baby wipes, micellar water and Soap and Glory makeup remover without fail and it has always come off in one go. This Mascara is only £6.99 which you can pick up from Boots, and you can also find the review over on my blog here.

Let me know what your favourites have been throughout October and if you have created your own October Favourites, leave it in the comments so I can check it out!
I'll see you soon
