Pretty Little Liars Book Review

Good Morning
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

So this has been a post which has been on my drafts ever since I started reading pretty little liars. I absolutely loved the first book after reading the whole thing in around 3 hours and I knew from then on I would love the rest of the series and I would have to include them as a review! So here it is. I haven't finished all of the books yet, I am currently reading book number eight and there are sixteen altogether so I have a while to go yet but I wanted to let you know of my thoughts so far and how much I recommend them to all you book lovers, and pretty little liars lovers of course.

So let's get too it;

"In Rosewood, not all that glitters is gold and the town harbours secrets dark than anyone could imagine - like the truth about what really happened the night Ali DiLaurentis went missing...
Back in middle school, Ali plucked Emily, Hanna, Aria and Spencer from obscurity and turn them into the beautiful, popular girls everyone wanted to be. Ali was the best friend they ever had. But she also made them do terrible things and taunted them with their worst secrets. Now, three years later, al their questions about Ali have finally been answered and they can put this awful chapter of their lives behind them. Or so they think. Not every story has a happy ending, especially when four pretty little liars have done so many wicked things."

First things first, the pretty little liars series makes me feel incredible! Just how I felt when I also watched the TV series on Netflix. It's one of them series which you really get into, till the point you shout at the television when the last episode ends and you have to wait half a year for the next season. I was like this with the books, especially when I finished one book and I didn't have the next so I had no choice but to read something else. Although I knew what was going to happen next because I have caught up with the TV series, I didn't want to stop reading the books! They really get your teeth gripped into them and they are filled with happiness and tears too.

Sara Shepard reminds you how important trust is and more importantly, who you should trust. The Pretty Little Liars have been through some terrible situations, ones where they left all of their trust in one person and they betrayed them. Can you trust anyone? Or should you be wary of who you should trust, especially with all of your secrets.

One aspect I couldn't believe in the eighth book is the fact Alison supposedly has a twin sister called Courtney. Obviously this isn't the case in the TV series and they must have cut this out of the series when filming. But why would they suddenly show a twin sister now they've supposedly found Ali's killer? And what is going to happen next?! (I haven't finished reading, so if you want to know, I can let you know).

Also, Spencer found out she had actually been adopted by Melissa's mum and dad, and she goes on the hunt to find her real mum, who actually ends up scamming her of all her money. I can't believe they would keep this a secret from her, and then tell her the complete truth once she loses all of the money. I can't imagine how she felt!

Would I recommend this book series?
If you love Pretty Little Liars, you will love these books! I honestly think they're so so much better than the series, but you have to watch the tv series first before you read the books!

Would I re-read them?
I would re-read these books any day and everyday, they are absolutely brilliant! When I get my hands on one, I can't put it down until it's finished.

Overall score out of five?
Overall score out of five? I'm giving it a 10, sorry! They are amazing and you all need to go ahead, find them and read them till your heart is content! And then come back to this post and let me know what you thought of them.

Have you read the pretty little liars book series? Let me know what you thought of them.

I'll see you soon
